The challenge – stop nature in its tracks.  Trying to represent the living plant when it’s not alive any more.  Dahlias rescued from the imminent frost, cut from Halls of Heddon dahlia nursery in Northumberland.  Nasturtiums rescued from my garden.  Flowers changing and growing and moving and fading by the hour demand focus in the short daylight hours of October and November.
